With a shared commitment to operational innovation, Omniboost—the one data unification platform that enables them all—has partnered with Valk Exclusief Hotels to execute a complex, future-ready PMS migration now set to scale across +40 properties. In close collaboration with Valk Exclusief’s internal PMS team, Omniboost successfully delivered a custom-built migration from the group’s legacy system, IDPMS, to the modern cloud-based platform Apaleo.
The pilot demonstrated that complex PMS migrations can be executed quickly and accurately, setting a clear path for portfolio-wide implementation.
Purpose-Built Migration with True Collaboration
This migration required more than a standard data transfer. Together with the Valk Exclusief PMS team, Omniboost developed a tailored solution to transition from IDPMS to Apaleo’s modern, cloud-native platform—capturing all future reservations and recreating them in the new system with full guest profiles, company records, group bookings, and prepaid balances, whether paid via credit card or loyalty points.
The process was thoroughly tested to ensure accuracy, stability, and alignment with Valk Exclusief’s operational workflows.

From Pilot to Portfolio
The pilot migration at Van der Valk Hotel Amsterdam Zuidas was completed in under two hours—an outcome made possible by detailed preparation, rigorous testing, and close collaboration between teams. It also proves what’s now clear: manual migrations are a thing of the past.
With the pilot validated, the focus now shifts to refining the migration runbook and scaling the process across the full portfolio of Valk Exclusief Hotels in the Netherlands and Germany, ensuring each property benefits from the same level of speed, accuracy and minimal disruption.
